Who We Are
Wouldn’t it be amazing if we woke one day and we were very different?
We were all of a sudden exactly what we wanted to be. I am not talking about a career or waking as a movie star, I am talking about being who we are under all the stuff.
What if all of a sudden we were lean, fit, and expressing the things that were most important to us. We had deep meaningful relationships, we loved life, we loved the people we knew and we wanted others to be happy.
Or what would it be to you?
Sometimes our first realization has to be that all our happiness is in our own power. It is an emotional realization that is very simple once we have taken the step. Like stepping over a small stream we could look back and say that was easy.
The second step in the realization is that you cannot blame anything in the environment for holding you back. The world is a messed up chaotic place if you look on the surface. If you climb into the mountains where nothing human exists you will see how simple life is.
You can be part of the messed up surface life or part of the simple mountain connection. We have water, sun, air, and food. We have a life time to explore how much fun it is to be here and how we can best exploit our potential.
Yes every one of us has untapped potential. We can have better thoughts, feel better, look better, smile more, and have more peace. We have to choose to close out the loud annoying demands of the surface chaos.
We may have to stop looking at emails for a second, texting everyone, attaching ear pieces and let the mind find some solace. We can’t escape if we spend all of our time staying attached to that which keeps us prisoner.
I like the consciousness of health. We start exploring our connection by giving our body what it needs, not what it begs for. We start taking our body out for some exercise and pushing its limits a little at a time. We start battling the mind that often doesn’t want to go in a different direction.
We find in exploring our potential health how we increase our brain and mind’s capacity to think and feel. We find that in directing our minds we have more power to add more direction. If we allow ourselves to start sinking deeper into our subconscious through better connection we start awakening the spirit.
That spirit might start looking like Inspiration. Freedom from Boredom. Exploration of our purpose here beyond the office.
It’s all there, right under the surface.
